Budding Marxist

Have just started reading Marx (still on first section first treatise) and I feel like I found my home. This is what I have never been able to express. It's not that we object to contributing to society. We object to giving our lives over, everything we create, to someone else. We object to being trapped in a system we did not choose, we cannot opt out of, and is blatantly targetted against us. So here's what I am asking: I will research and read and educate myself, but what are some axioms? What are some of the boiled down words used to communicate greater ideas? Something I can use as a leapad while I learn?
