I called in sick for the first time ever at my new job because I was so sick with the flu I couldn’t make it out of bed. I’d worked the previous day and my boss had commented that I even looked sick. He had the audacity to include me in a group text asking someone to cover my shift as “someone is supposedly sick”, and has now cut my roster next week down to one shift. I seriously hate the way business work 🤦️
