Hello, I know this gets asked a lot but I'm wondering if anyone has a specific answer to my question since google did not clarify this for me. Does anyone know if in Alberta, Canada an employer can call you half an hour before the start of your shift and cancel it when you're on the way without compensating you for the minimum 3 hours? I know my friend made a mistake by picking up the phone but what is the law now that she has. Thanks
