This 3rd party recruitment company I made the mistake of getting involved with through indeed, called me 6 times from 3 different number and sent 5 texts in 1 HOUR about the same job.
I set boundaries about communication and threw in to not even send me opportunities that are below a certain pay rate. Now they're apologizing profusely and suddenly the same position is now paying 20% higher to meet the requirement I sent.
I told them I'm cutting off contact for the rest of the day and I'm sticking to that, they're visibly squirming.
There's no lesson or advice in this, it just feels good to stand up for myself against businesses that don't respect my time.
