Calls at home form managers

My girl works for for a warehouse type grocery store. She’s been in the phone for 20 minutes with her new boss to sort out an issue that was sorted over 15 minutes ago and they keep talking work things. I’ve repeated she’s not a manager and not getting paid and to get off the phone 3 times now. She’s younger than me and doesn’t understand they don’t need a minute of your time after work. She was just worried an issue an verbally abusive customer had was gonna cause her problems tomorrow. Fine, she stated her piece but not get off. I gave her plenty of time after before I realized they kept rambling. Would I be in the wrong by taking the phone, and telling her boss to talk to her at work since she tried calling him multiple times today, then hanging up?
