I work at a bank and today I was pulled to work at a different branch than my normal one. I come in and the manager goes “so have you been updated?” Um no? Tells me her husband and son (who she lives with and takes care of) have covid, tested positive last week. She has not gotten tested since her family tested and has been to work everyday since.
HR is not telling her she has to test or stay home. If I was told all of this before coming in I would not have agreed to this. I just feel like all of this is so shady and I’m 100% not comfortable with this but I’m stuck here for another 6 hours. I don’t understand what is wrong with companies that don’t give a single fuck about the employees that make the company successful.
