So I was recently made manager of the liquor store I work at. One of the things discussed was an extra $2 an hour raise.
Fast forward a couple months my dad has stage 4 cancer so I went out of state to see my dad for a week. I come home to chaos at work. He fired two people. Boss is actually working shifts which never happens. And then I'm told he can't afford the raise he said. So
a) what happened with the two that got fired?
b) and the two paychecks not being should pay for my raise to deal with drunk morons.
TLDR: given raise by boss, who text me to say he couldn't afford it after firing two people.
