This might sound a bit like a conspiracy theory, but I have beating my head against a wall trying to find this out. So, last year when I was having some issues with a difficult boss, I bought a small audio recording device to start recording all of our conversations. Long story short, the company laid off a massive headcount and I lost my job. This was the best day ever! I hated that place.
I was going over my recordings and I got to the one where I caught my manager really gaslighting me. The conversation started on a teams call. For some reason, she acted like she couldn't hear my audio, but there were actually no issues (I test my audio regularly, especially where this bitch was concerned), so we switch our conversation to our work phones (iPhones). All of a sudden, the entire audio is completely inaudible due to some massive audio interference. I was attempting to run the audio through a text transcription to save it as a record, but the audio is shot.
I went through several of my other recordings via teams and using my personal phone, there is no such interference. My main question is, do iPhones have audio jamming capabilities? This boss was the most bizarre person I had ever worked for, she seldom communicated in writing and she never was willing to give me any clearly defined goals.
Any thoughts?
