Uniforms are required where I work, however my manager forces us to take our uniforms home, so they do not have to compensate us for donning and doffing our uniforms.
I keep my uniforms in my car cause I do not have the space at home for them, I would much rather keep my uniforms at work in the uniform room. So my questions are:
1. can my employer require me to take my work uniform home?
2. Can my employer require me to change off the clock?
Currently I bring uniform to work, clock in and then I change, but my manager says I can’t do that.
