I am currently on medical leave in preparation for maternity leave. That means I am not being paid and my doctor thinks I cannot work. WHY am I getting 400 emails and texts, “Can you do this?” and “Where is this?” from my boss, coworkers, and replacements? I left more than what is required for my leave – I am a teacher and we have to do three days of lesson plans and have our marking up to date. I left 3 weeks of lessons, enough to take it to the end of the semester. I don't know if the replacement teacher doesn't know how to do science or if my organization is not their style, but honestly…. I'm GONE! I will not be back until 2024. My Doctor says that too much stress and work could be harmful to me and my unborn child. Just pretend I died over Winter Break and LEAVE ME ALONE!
