So i work at a hospital. Not a nurse or doc. I work in admin getting patients registered for their exams etc. So my dad has a surgery coming up. I took the day of the surgery off and the next day. My boss ask me if i not take my pto and said we can give me a bonus if you dont, we are short staffed. This wasn't a last minute pto request. Put the request in last month. Also my boss didn't say how much the bonus would be.
