Can’t we just complete society already?

Humanity is too obsessed with what it can do and never stops to consider what it should do. First, money is fictional. If you disagree, I’ll send you out into the wilderness. Did you find me any money? No? See. Fictional. Every industry we have today is also fictional. We don’t “need” them, but we get bored, so whatever. We are the only thing on the planet that refuses to accept we’re not special, so we built the game of life. Posters, billboards, ads, ads, ads. It’s no wonder so many people in the world are fucked. How many mental illnesses are a byproduct of this fictional environment? But wait! You’re anxious in this world? Something must be wrong with you. We have a pill for that! Oh, do you have insurance? Ignore the light novel that outlines the side effects. Ownership of land? The government claims ownership, but no…

The government claims ownership, but no one can ever truly “own” anything. It’s shared. It’s ours.

I looked at Home Depot’s site the other day. They offer 800+ varieties of hot water heaters. Can’t we just build one bang up product and say fuck the rest? Resources are important; but for the sake of healthy competition, they let it happen. Money baby! Think of how many companies exist to produce those things. Think of how many workers, the amount of money to start an establishment, and the amount of money to run such a thing. That’s a waste of energy.

Why can’t we get rid of redundant business practices, and let the surplus of workers create a 3 hour/day work schedule with rotating shifts?

I don’t care about the economics. Money’s fictional anyway. The government can’t even use it responsibly. Why should we be expected to? Give everyone $90k/yr to just do their job and play their part. I’d never justify buying a new car again if I could afford to fix it when the parts play out.

I played the game of life. I earned a master’s degree in engineering, yet I earn $25/hr to sit in front of a computer and do nothing. I can’t live a meaningful life on that. I want to find and pursue romance in my life. What? Am I supposed to take part in the “nightlife” and find comfort in alcoholism to cope? Fuck that.

I’m sick of the ambiguous climb to the “future”. We’ve come far enough. We don’t need 6G, 8K tvs, or iPhone 20. Public toilets have computers, sinks, gas pumps, how many computers do we need to cram into this meaningless existence to feel meaningful? We are not intelligent. We are proud. Too proud. Ignorant.

Am I making sense?

*Also, you can’t be an environmentalist if you’re capitalist. Capitalism is redundant and wasteful. BTW, I hate labels and identify with neither.
