Of Course We Should All Be Working Less
Possible problems with WFH?
Hey I don’t mind wfh, but I think there are problems associated with it. People working for relatively low wages are being priced out of more desirable remote areas, places like: small towns adjacent to national forests, small coastal towns, national park gateway towns. Homes get bought up for way more than a local employee, one who can’t work from home, can afford. They are depriving affordable housing for hard working low income workers on what I believe is a large scale. I only have anecdotal evidence. How does the WFH crowd address this?

Office Space ’99
I ask because i regularly get passed up when i offer to work on new projects i have many years of experience in . Seems like they just want to learn from their own mistakes. SO what am i doing still working if no one values my experience ?
What do I drive??
Employment application is asking what car I drive, why is that remotely relevant? Job is in sales, nothing to do with needing a vehicle of any particular size etc
Strike Playlist
University of Washington research scientist and post-doc are on strike for a living wage. What are good songs for the picket line? I nominated Rhiana's “Bitch Better Have My Money.” Any other suggestions?
