Personal struggles at work
Sorry if this isn’t the right place. How do you deal with struggling with personal issues while at work? I’m going through a lot personally right now and I’m trying not try cry at my desk. I’m a very sensitive person anyway so this sucks. I have to attend a meeting later this week that includes discussing my job description and I’m afraid I’m going to cry in front of these big wigs I’ve never met before.

Boss jokes about “hunting liberals”
Just overheard my boss joking with the Ass. Man. about “hunting liberals” with the new rifle he just purchased this weekend. I'm not a liberal, but I'm pretty far to the left. It kinda makes me wanna quit. Should I just walk?
Since the service industry is the only industry that offers employment, this means that most people suffer from chronic mental abuse by customers for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. I know one woman who now works in customer service and she's going to be a nurse, and the situation in hospitals is even worse. Nurses in my country (Israel) get physically attacked by patients and patients' relatives almost every shift, and they work many hours a day. There was a case of a nurse who got set on fire by a patient in a clinic in the city of Holon and another case of a doctor who was hit by an iron bar by a patient, and she bled from her head. I need advice – boss skimmed $$
All employees receive an annual bonus if the company meets our goal. We met our goal. Rewind to last year, me and another employee turned in our prior boss for embezzling/skimming off the top of the owners money. Now our new boss did it to me & the employee that turned in the old boss. The problem: the owner gave our boss a list of our bonuses at 20%, nobody knows I saw this list. Our new boss renegotiated and took 10% from me and a few people while giving others 20%. Also, he’s only been here 3/4’s of the year and got 100% of his annual bonus plus 5k. The issue I have is the owner approved all of this. On top of this, I took on extra work from other departments to help the company out. The disloyalty is enough for me to find another job. Security was almost called on me
So, my manager today thought she would screw me over and gave me one month notice starting today. This came after her manipulation, gaslighting, and me not willing to play the role of a doormat anymore. She said that I was negative and defensive because I called out shitty behaviour. She said that I was the problem. I said that what she is doing is called gaslighting. She just stared at me. I told her that she did me a favour and that I signed an offer just last week for a job with salary and benefits that can not compare to this shitty agency assignment. She didn't want to hear the truth and I didn't want to leave before I told her everything. At one point, she stood up and told me that I needed to leave her office or she would call security. He is a careless boy. He has spent these 18 years for fun and in vain. And He does not know anything to find a job. Even washing the dishes or traversing the earth. Where do you think the problem comes from? Does anybody hire him?
