Are the Mods finally cracking down??
Today, I am seeing a lot of posts being immediately locked by Mods. Could it be that someone if finally deciding to return this sub to original form and intent??
I don't think I heard this somewhere, It came to me while working today, in a haze of a shift. It is perhaps a cheeky pun, but I kind of like it and just wanted to share, even though it may not be brilliant, it just resonated with me today. It is certainly a statement that doesn't care for unjustified hierarchy. I wonder if I have heard it somewhere else. Perhaps I should have just pitched it over to r/Showerthoughts.
Work For 60 Years Instead of 40!!!
I don’t know
I have worked for a custom cabinet shop for over 13 years. I have been week taken care of as well as the employees. I am 61 years old. I don’t know what to say except the owner was the first person I say 8 years ago when I opened my eyes after hip surgery. I was diagnosed with cancer in 2021 and he was there every step of the way. We can not find valued employees but we keep on going. Our work is treasured and excellent. We are a team of 13 employees but in need of more. Just can’t find them. In all that is going on I wanted you to know that there are good people out there…

Up until recently, my boss and I were taking care of it, now another department takes care of it. My boss and I had a strategy when dealing with it, we referred to it as Lost, because it was so rare that anyone came and claimed their stuff back. I don't make “good money” (everyone has their own interpretation of that phrase) I am not minimum wage or anything or struggling to get by, but at my work I know there are people who earn far more…
