I applied for a job outside of my Provence, for the summer. It’s advertised as minimum wage. Please tell me if I get it, it will feed my family for the summer. Right now that is all I care about.

So never have this before. I was not ready and as a person who does hiring I would never do this lmao…. Wondering if anybody has been through this and did you end up getting hired and were they OK?

Idk if this is allowed but I need help and this seems like the best place to ask for it. I’m a part time keyholder at a retail job in the US. However, my manager sucks (shocking) and it’s looking like I’m going to have to leave. However, I don’t know what fair pay for this position looks like given the economy. If anyone has any helpful information (you currently work in a similar position, know someone who does and know what they make, etc) I would really appreciate it. Online job postings aren’t super forthcoming, and I don’t have the time or energy to get screwed over again. I know it’s risky to talk about pay so I appreciate any help at all

As the title says. They actually use the example in the advert, ‘if you’ve no time to leave your desk’. When will we end this shit?

I have 2 jobs. One I work M and Tu at the Mall, the other is W, Th, F, and S at a hotel. Both bosses agreed to this schedule. I came to work this morning and my boss called me as soon as I pulled into the parking lot, and asked if I wanted the day off bc we didn't have very many check ins last night, so not very many rooms to clean today. I told my boss yes bc I didn't sleep well. She told me to get some sleep bc tomorrow will be a very busy day, as we are fully booked tonight. Looking for advice. I work in med device and have less than a year in. Being the new guy the work load is crazy and I get stuck on call constantly, the demands are beyond unreasonable. I’ve had two days off in the last month, even sat/Sunday are 10+ hours and during the week is worse. Two weeks ago it was so bad I fell asleep driving and didn’t catch that the nurse had assembled an instrument incorrectly. I called my boss to say I was worried that a patient or myself was going to end up hurt. We had a meeting with the entire branch last night (I was stuck covering a case until 10pm and missed the meeting).
