Had a job offer preliminary today. Got through the paperwork, signed a bunch of stuff got offered close to 60000 a year salary. My first salary job ever. No more uncertainty about whether or not I could pay certain bills, my wife and I could stretch our legs a littlw bit. At almost 33 I have been working hard for this. Onto Medical for my drug test. Shouldn't be an issue, I don't do drugs, at all. Passed the breathalyzer with flying colors and received my instructions for the cup, and I pee into the cup, don't flush the toilet and set the cup in the door trap. Went to a wedding earlier this week. And met a few people from extended family and friends who were at the same table. It feels so awful when the topic of work comes up. One guy is a software engineer at Microsoft making 150k at 23 years old. A 26 year old girl who was very cute is finishing up med school. Everyone is doing well for themselves, and then, there is me, 26 year old who couldn’t get a job for 2 years after finishing a psychology degree and now stuck working at an amazon warehouse. It’s so embarrassing, I hate it
