Is there a word for when a job interviewer is so hostile it’s like they are sabotaging your interview?

I recently got passed up for promotion, but one of my interviews was really weird. The interviewer clung on to an off hand comment, made it into a mountain of an issue and would later cite it as a reason for passing on me. The comment was that I helped coworker's who felt too embarrassed to go to their bosses (something I'd think would be an asset). At first I thought the guy was just devils advocating but in hindsight (and follow-up) he seems to genuinely be an ass and/bully. I'm not sure where, if at all, this falls into a hostile work environment or if I could even make a case with HR (I know, I know, HR's not my friend), but don't even know what to dau. Yes, I'm mad for being passed on for promotion (I'm not going to pretend I'm not) but the reasons were so…

Fortune 500 Company Requiring 3 Days in Office

Hi. We’ve been operating remotely since March 2020 like every other company. Also, like many companies in the news yesterday we were given the announcement that we are “required to be in the office 3 days per week.” There’s absolutely no reason for this as customer satisfaction is high and all work is getting done and stock price is at an all time high. Executives gave no reasoning for this; just do it. I want to be a voice for all 20,000 coworkers who might not be in the position to speak up. I’ve voiced concerns in forms of questions and statements about people leaving the company for remote work to VPs and management. That only does so much in a company with >20k employees. What else can I do while also ensuring I don’t get fired for doing it?

I was “kicked out” of the parking garage for my work because people are petty, but can someone explain to me why this company is harassing me to pay a balance I don’t owe? Does this not say that I am owed 29 dollars?

Unpaid internships/clinicals are insane

You know, for a brief moment, I was doing some research on things I could go to school for that I was actually interested in ie. in healthcare. But as I’m reading people go through med school and all that I forgot that unpaid internships or clinicals are definitely important if I wanted to pursue anything like radiology or something. I already work in healthcare as a sterile processing tech but I’m definitely ready for something new and that pays better and going more deeper into healthcare was on my list. But honestly. I genuinely cannot afford to work unpaid. Like I actually can’t I would literally be homeless and it’s making me viscerally angry that this is what med students here in the US deal with. Anyways I just had to rant. I guess this is goodbye to my interest in healthcare because I honestly cannot afford to just…

I currently work as some general worker at a warehouse for a measley $17/hr.

I originally took the job to have something to do part time as my wife works while I take care of kid stuffs. I was recently up for a promotion to Inventory Manager. Jokingly, I told my friend that if they only offer me a $1 raise I might just quit on the spot. I was, at the very least, looking to be bumped up to $20, which would make this job worthwhile. During the job offer, they expected me to work overtime, work alone, and do so at only an .80 raise. Fuck that.

Landlord Tenant Board of Ontario: Notice to evict/pay rent owed to landlord – 1 month maximum. Notice for landlord to make property suitable for habitation: 8 months – 1 year maximum.

Basically, in Ontario, Canada, where rent costs are extreme due to “unforseen circumstances” and “high demand”, the Tenant Landlord board of Tribunals Ontario will waste no time evicting you for non payment, even if the building your living in is dilapidated, has no running water, heat, Airconditioning, etc.., even if the current conditions of your rental violate the lease terms, and you're not paying the rent because the landlord refuses repairs. But you want to get the OLTB to crack down on your slumlord apartment manager or management company? “Sorry, there's a backlog. Live in these destitute conditions and we'll maybe get to you this year. It's not our fault covid happened.” Fuck Ontario and it's piece of shit government.
