It’s that time of year again where I need to be employed again so I applied to be a warehouse grunt once more. Yesterday was my first day so I went in (getting more anxious as the time to punch in came closer). After waiting for my name to be called, I presented my old work badge & informed them I was to start today. 15-20 minutes later someone came back to tell me that I was still registered as terminated in their system, he then suggested I reply to the email that said I was due to start telling them the issue. 22 hours later & I haven’t received a response. Is this a sign that I should take my talents elsewhere than the gloomy ass warehouse? hi. i’m leaving an offline file, a small website about why i hate the company, on a computer for them to find after i leave. it’s a quick HTML webpage, using company colors but no logos. it has a menu with just a bunch of reasons my team hates jpac for the way they treat their employees. outside of firing me or blacklisting me from the company, is there anything they can do to me outside of work? i can’t imagine this is illegal but idk? (they’ll obvi knows it’s me because i’m quitting and they know i’m a computer science major).
