Now I don't have a complete understanding of how these words work other than the surface connotations. First world = successful country, third world = lots of poverty. But with widespread poverty across the country, especially middle America and red states, on top of poverty wages, unsocialized medicine, and staggering homelessness for years, how are we not considered second-to-third world? My family immigrated to this country for better opportunities compared to where we came from (Philippines, 2nd world). Even at $50/hr. he's still a struggling American with a family of five.

My former job just introduced a new policy that you can't drive people of the opposite gender home, whether they're management or a co-worker or not. Men can't drive women home and vice versa. Is there any way to fight back on that?

I had a middle age man tell me “I’m gonna give you some advice young lady, you need to smile more” when I was wearing a MASK lol He said it in a really condescending tone too. I just pointed at my mask and said nothing. I thought comments like this would stop when I wear a mask lol. I always try to be nice and polite with customers too lol so wtf?? I still get hit on my men over the age of 50 constantly who either talk about their ex wives or whose wives come in the next day (I’m in a pharmacy). And all this happens while I’m wearing a mask covering half my face and I’m not even hot. Then I spend the rest of the day getting screamed at by Karens or having men talk to me like I’m an idiot. And I’m expected to…
