Hi all, I was looking for some serious advice when it came to my new job. I began working as a mail man about 2 months ago and since the first day it’s been absolutely grueling. I work 60-70 hours every week and work 7 days a week. I don’t even get Sunday off as it’s called “Amazon day” so all you do is deliver packages all day. we get one off day per pay period (2 weeks). It might be worth it if the culture their was at least half decent but the supervisors could care less about us, are super rude, and work us like dogs. It’s gotten to the point where I’m nervous to get sick or have to miss time due to the actions by supervisors would take. Apparently, Jen's been wanting a surgery too, but she's been putting it off because she's a real team player and wouldn't hurt the clinic like that. Mom called…
Feels great turning down tips
Working for myself is one of the best things I've ever done. I love when I blow my client's mind by turning down tips from them. I set the prices because I'm my own boss. I charge what I'm worth. I'm not relying on the kindness of strangers. Also I'm black and know the history of tipping in the U.S. I deserve better.
