I live in Idaho and my job's office is in Washington. We commonly travel between ID and WA doing HVAC work. They give us a $150 bonus to split between lead and apprentice if you complete the job in one day. If we get a recall and someone has to go back to fix something we no longer get the bonus. My question is if I get paid out my bonus and a month later something happens and we have to go back they tell us our bonus will be pulled from the next paycheck. Can they do this?

Tipping Percentage Questions
I figured this would be the best place to ask because most of us here would get it. Say for instance I get a Target order and the amount is high enough that a 20% tip would be like $120. Mostly due to like smaller items like vitamins that cost more and such. The heaviest things are usually several half gallons of milk. My shoppers always do a pretty awesome job, and I want to show my appreciation. Even if a tip doesn’t add up the the regular ‘perfect service!’ amount of 20% (which would have been about $120) I chose a tip of $60 but feel guilty because it was technically only 10 percent of the bill. The shopping trip took about an hour and a half. What is the proper tipping etiquette when it comes to services like grocery shopping and hair, where the arbitrary 10-15-20 percent rule…
Went to walmart on New Years Eve, I don't like making people work on holidays but wife wanted new snacks for the evening, as we were checking out I got carded for beer and the older check out gave me a hard time for young buck (nearly 40) and mentioned she was 73 years old. I comment “Rough working on New Years Eve, Hopefully you can relax tonight” Her reply “Oh not so much brother passed yesterday, he was suffering from dimensia so he's in a better place” As an older checkout lady she may of not gone quickly and and got something messed up that she needed help with and I was completely fine but my eldest daughter was with me and after we got outside commented that i was annoyed by her taking so long. Naw, just sad seeing the part of society that shouldn't exist. Knowing that…
solidarity strikes are very effective.
Harris Teeter gave the self checkout cashiers the night off. I bet they are all attending the employee appreciation end of year party.
I’m 35, this makes me sad.
pending threat of doom after speaking up
Today I received a verbal backhand after I spoke up about some unsafe work stuff, and the bosses insisted I was being disrespectful after I indicated to them that we were being unsafe. They told me to trust them and be respectful, and I told them that me telling them there was a safety issue was top shelf trust and respect, to which, the main boss said that was only my perception. Now, none of them can look me in the eye. I recorded the entire conversation.
