Work needs to be done and that's a fact. I see socialism thrown about here a lot of the time but a word is just a word without people offering facts.I am not looking for confrontation, I swear to god. In fact I have been anti work since I was a child. I have never understood why anyone would work five days a week… Yet here I am.I knew adults were being robbed before I knew santa wasn't real. I am asking an honest question. What is the best alternative to capitalism and how do we start?

The whole problem is that I work in a very loud, dusty, poorly ventilated warehouse. My responsibilities include the tearing down and reassembling of concrete vaults. This includes working with 800lb+ vaults that need to be cleaned and oiled with an oil sprayer. And like I said, the warehouse is poorly ventilated. Iask or not, I’m always breathing in diesel oil and concrete dust. Nor are the bathrooms (porta potties), tools, and workstations sanitized regularly. Just this past Christmas week, about two other employees who work near me went home due to illness like throwing up, headaches, and fatigue. Although it could be Covid, I have not yet tested but I am having similar symptoms after just being in contact with those who went home Ill. My particular problem is that I’ve gone through my sick time and have already been warned and that the next action they’ll take is…
