If I dont get anything out from the system or the system tries to screw mw – I will do my best to either sabotage it – or do my absolute minimum. Take the “low skilled workers” that are ridiculed: I cant wrap my head around how “low skilled” workers somehow dont deserve a decent wage – yet the Boomers 60 years ago were a low skill generation and got paid more than educated people today. Everyone knows the boomer stories of “had no HS started as a janitor and worked himself up to be boss of the company”. Some are of course hyperbole – but many were not. People who had no HS or only HS could start nearly everywhere – learn on the job and advance. Nowadays people with degrees earn sometimes less than HS Boomer – people are forced to get degrees to even get the chance…

So I had to call in to work because I was having issues with active homelessness, and when I called in my manager said I needed to find a replacement because they're my hours, I already looked it up and I plan on showing her today that it's management that need to do that, however she also said she would be cutting my hours for next week if I couldn't come in, I was just wondering if there's anything I can do, I live in new Mexico btw.
…Eat that same food those same people prepared but they did not SEE them prepare. They either gotta be hella ignorant and just don't realize or just really like eating other people's body fluids in their meal. Just saying.
Housing system is predatory
For context, I worked alongside two other co-workers. We were in the software industry. About a month before the date we were told that they will be moving us to a sister company and that we could expect some kind of raise. Profit sharing, inflation, and overtime adjustment were “promised” to be reflected in this raise. I'm still young but I learned a long time ago that you take those kinds of words with a grain of salt. Nothing personal, just business. Anyways, fast forward to a few days ago, our manager was taking us in 1 by 1 to meet and discuss the contract. Again there were 3 of us in total including myself. I never went in for my meeting.
