Would it be against the rules to post, say, like one company (large companies) per day- and past or current employees of such companies in this group can comment about the terrible things said company has done to you or to people you know? So many companies in America are just truly god-awful to their employees. I believe it would be illuminating for outsiders to see specific examples (without naming names) about the ways in which they are awful, in a centralized way such as this.

So my work has decided to give a substantial raise across the board that is above average in our field. There wasnt any sign of a catch…..until today. My department announced that they wore changing their training and compentecy. Weve always had training but this is to a whole another level. For starters Theyve switched the software our training modeules are on starting in January. The old one you could go back and retake the test and see where you went wrong. You now have to take a test for every single task you are trained on and fail once and you go into something called “education mediation” with management. The other thing is that theyve now gone to a 3 tier system based on tasks(tier one being the easiest jobs, tier 3 being the most advanced jobs) and they say there's is room for advancement which i feel is…

This is a long one, sorry!! TL:DR; the company I work for is claiming to donate a bunch of money to charities, but I don't trust them and am trying to figure out how to get receipts/hold them accountable. The tech company I work for has decided to “give back” this year by donating a lot of money. Basically, they claim they're taking the budget for “holiday gifts and our kick-off packages [a yearly gift box with company swag]” and donating it to charity. They had all of the C suite people pick a charity, give a little speech about it, and then we employees picked a charity and they will “donate in our name”. They do not specify how much each donation will be, and they don't specify any type of deadline for choosing a charity or timeline of when the donations will take place. I love this idea.…
This is some bullshit
I have Covid. I got sick on Monday and called out on Tuesday, went to work on Wednesday and did a home test on Wednesday night. I have been vaccinated and gotten 2 boosters so all I thought I had was a cold. Anyway I texted my boss on Wednesday night and told her. She said I need to go to employee health to get an official test done and a return to work date. Okay so I went and they charge me $40. Apparently they changed employee health to an urgent care clinic for employees and charge $40 a visit. I could have just called in today and Friday and saved $40.
