I'm sure when people think “anti-work” people think lazy. Ironic that the reason why most people do work is so they can become lazy, but 60+ years later. It's like they need to feel valid for following the system. These people never bothered to ask themselves why we must work until the government and businesses essentially let us retire at an old age to bring in younger people. How is it wrong to want what everyone wants 60+ years later to have that now?

I was speaking to one of my colleagues today and she informed me that the reason our boss can get away with paying her so little, is because she doesn't have papers. She's located in the Philippines, and she told me that our supervisor is also undocumented (located in another country). We all work remotely and we work in sales for a watch dealership. Our boss completely takes advantage of all of us and I'm pretty much done. I'm ready to quit but i'm gathering all the evidence necessary in the meantime (we chat through whats app and I tried downloading our chat logs but unfortunately they're all end to end encrypted but I know what he's doing is completely illegal and he really deserves to have his business revoked/face jail as he doesn't treat ANY of us humanely. I'm also not located in Canada and I really don't know…
ive come to the point where i dislike my bosses so much that i am starting to take 20 min bathroom breaks. LOL it makes me laugh to do it. and i dont care!! agriculturally, we are in our slow season, so ive gone from accounting to the maid. bosses wife telling me i need to clean their offices.. yeah that’s not part of my job description. no thanks bud. just fire me at this point.
It's been two weeks. I've been casting my net, but the break is nice. I'm trying to punch up from my weight class, get paid a little more and right now I'm only considering fully remote. I really don't want to take the first place that'll have me because I'm “failing”. In the meantime I'm trying to get approved for unemployment so I can take some time to find the right thing. I'm fortunate to be married and have a support system to help until I can sort out some income. My parents have encouraged and helped me get started on going back to school. I've taken a while to try and figure out what I might be interested and good at, I've currently landed on Psychology working towards counseling and therapy. I start a fully online university transfer program in January. I've started to dig myself out of my…
The US Senate just passed a bill to increase military spending to $858 Billion for 2023 (which is more than the military even asked for). Military spending was $801 Billion in 2022. An increase of $57 billion. Bernie Sander's plan to make all public universities and colleges in the US tuition free would cost the federal government $48 billion per year. How did the media react to that? Across the board they said “how are we going to pay for it”, “how can we afford it”, “fanciful wishful thinking”. Meanwhile the military spending bill passed in the Senate 83-11. The media isn't even mentioning it. Nobody questions how we will pay for it. They’re also just mostly really stupid questions.

I got my Christmas bonus today! #blessed
No, I am not an anti-vaxing Trump supporter. I have 3 vaccines, but every so often my job is like oh multiple people have covid you need to wear a mask again. No I don't. The people who caught covid, they are at home. They also caught it wearing the same mask daily that collects all the germs and covid. It is horrific for my mental health and my anxiety. I have mild autism and ACC, this mask crap sucks because I also hide my outgoing positivity behind a stupid mask
