As the title says, Is it legal for a kitchen manager to take all of our tips for the week as kitchen staff (about $300), deposit it into his own personal accounts, and then “use it to treat staff” with gifts. I assume none of this money is being accurately recorded, and the small business owner is completely in his power to gift out of his own pocket, but the manager and owner are pretty “in kahoots” so I'm fairly frustrated that OUR money is being taken off the book and spent without our concent We're in Minnesota if anyone knows the particulars Thanks again!

Holiday Season
This holiday has me dragging, working retail with no time off and them adding “Bank deposits before opening” is making me drive a total of 45min each morning now. Just wanted to rant about this because not only did my raise just kinda get tossed into the wind but I don't get paid for bank time/run. We are required to clock out before then. I just feel as if this is illegal in some sort of way.
No manager and power hungry coworker
So my manager is going to be gone a few months this might sound like your dream world but in my line of work its an absolute disaster. That leaves me and 2 coworkers to run this business. Same amount of pay, more work. My coworker thats been there longest tries to use us as her assistant which is most certainly not my job. Manager says coworker will be playing manager until she's back. Absolutely FUCKING not will I report to this girl. Unprofessional and narcissistic as she could possibly be. Oh also, the entire existence of our company is changing right now and we are left to make these changes happen and sweep up the mess.
I’m still working here and in fact enjoy it(sometimes) but I was informed when I was hired that if you don’t give a 2 weeks notice that your pay will be reduced to minimum wage(7.25) for your final check, and that missing shifts without attempting to find coverage will cost you a certain pay cut for a time of 30 days. Is this normal or lawful?
My husband sends me nudes occasionally through Facebook messenger. I have a boss who I share office with. She always watches my screen and whatever I’m doing on my phone. Last week, my husband sent me two pictures of his penis and I took a quick look at it. I swear, it was less than one minute because I thought he sent something important. When I realized it was nudes, I turned off my phone immediately because my boss was staring at me. Today, HR called me to meet them and said that I was watching porn at work. I said my husband sent me nudes and I immediately closed my phone after I received it. I am going to speak with a lawyer.
