My company sent out a holiday bonus today of $50 for hourly employees that’s been employed over one year and $25 for employees that’s been employed under one year, which is taxed of course. Oh what joy!! A year of work to make the company richer is rewarded with $50 per-tax. Corporate greed at its finest.

Is this legal? Are they required to pay? What is AntiWork's advice for this situation, since it's apparently pretty common for gas station owners to require restitution?
Im gonna quit next month
Don't you hate it when the customers are sweet, patient, and understanding but you never got formal training for things like the cash register, your constantly reprimanded for things you were never told about, and feel stressed every time you get your shifts. I know I do,I'd quit now if it weren't for the fact that we're understaffed and i like a few of my coworkers so I'll stay until after new yeard. I know retails suppose to suck, but no one told me about the passive aggressive, power hungry managers. I'm already savoring my leave.
Before anyone calls me lazy, I've been working “hard” my whole life. I got 99th percentile on the SAT, straight A's in high school + college, graduated summa cum laude and was top 10% of my class. I also did 2 full-time internships while I was a college student. I work a corporate tech job right now and absolute hate it. My degree was in a related field and I honestly have no interest in tech but it was too late to change my degree and I didn't know what else to do. I got zero training at work, everyone works 12+ hours a day, everything is remote and I feel so depressed and like I'm wasting my life. My job is making me do certifications in addition to working full-time so my weekends are spent studying as well and I just cannot retain the information because I'm so uninterested.…
Manager has been scheduling me (shift supervisor at Gamestop) for ridiculous things like closing then opening next day and having us work alone in one of the highest volume districts in North America so he can avoid new hires.
A fucking shift. That cost 1/6 of what we make an hour, with our branch name lazily ironed on the back. I was insulted at first but now it's just making me angry. For context, last year everyone got custom lunchboxes. Super nice. Yall, we killed it this year, added an entire shift to meet demand. I enjoy my job even if I have my grievances. But seriously a shirt? Fuck you
Thinking of quitting without notice
After careful consideration I think I am fed up with my job. I have a boss that was so willing to suspend me from work for calling into work when I was willing to provide a doctor’s note, then suddenly changes her tune because it’s against policy to do that. On other occasions she’s gossiped to the department about a termination of an employee, talks shit about everyone in the department behind their backs (especially new people), doesn’t train anyone and is very unpredictable. I’m pretty sure she has trash talked me since I’ve been gone so now everyone is against me. I don’t feel that I fit in with that “team”. I have never done an immediate resignation so that’s what makes it hard, but I’m not sure of how much more of this I can take. I’m disrespected on a daily basis.
Absolutely livid and could use some support. I take care of a private patient. I work 5 days a week. I am an incredibly reliable employee willing to do literally anything their family needs to make their lives easier. I was asked two weeks ago if I could come early one day this week because my patient has an appointment. I could use the extra money, as I'm a student paying for tuition out of pocket / it's the holidays, so I said sure. A few days later, my patient said something off-handed about my PTO day making up for the earlier start. I assumed he was confused (he has a neurodegenerative disorder; it happens) and didn't think much of it. Flash forward to last weekend, as we talked about the next two weeks ahead, suddenly it was expected that I would come in an hour early *two days* this…
