This is more so no anti work but more of a rant.
I've been looking for a new job just to have a little bit of difference and maybe earn a little more money as I'm sure alot of people can relate it's likely the only way I'll keep up with inflation is through job hopping considering my last increase.
So I see this job and it's a carbon copy of my job but within a different industry and across two different apartments. Great! I know the basics and and more than qualified to bring transferable skills so I apply. A week later I recieve a rejection email which is ok. I'm confused as it'd be like hiring a window cleaner to replace a window cleaner but you win some you lose some I'll carry on.
What really annoys me is that not 3 days after my rejection email I received a notification from the same company, same job role and description is “urgently hiring” again because I'm setup to receive email notifications about that job role.
I can't apply for this job again as it says “I've already applied.”
What is going on with companies supposedly urgently hiring but being extremely picky?
