How can we fight for a “Good and Substantial Cause for Termination?”

As the title suggests, I want to fight for legal protection for people so they’re not being terminated for absolutely no reason at all. Because employers can essentially fire without a good and substantial reason, they can go out of their way to fire you for racial, sexist, or other discriminatory reasons if they decide to choose not to explain their decision.
I have a mental disability and I can’t defend myself to keep my job unless my job makes it clear that my mental disability is the absolute reason for firing me.
This is insanity that we can just fire people if the wind blows in the wrong direction or if the company is losing money due to a poor economy.
It’s terrible for economic reasons to even allow a company to disband employees without cause as it would take more money from the economy through social programs.
Because they’re private companies, the best the government can even do is provide stimulate money to companies that will pocket it and still fire their employees….

Even then, would any of us had the money to defend ourselves in court?
