Company I’m interviewing for wants me to shadow for 6 hours unpaid

As the the title says, they want a 6 hour shadowing prior to a possible job offer. I asked if this time would be paid and they are offended. Sorry, this seems like a lot of my time to devote and my time isn’t free.
