Tired of my job

I posted about this experience right around when it happened, but I am tired of this job. Right around Christmas time I was going out for an unrelated surgery. I had received only four days of training on this one machine. I had two days with one person and hadn’t run it for almost a year and then got two days with another person who is also responsible for running another line on top of training me. I hadn’t run it for months at this point. One of my supervisors comes up and asked me if I remember how to run it. I told him that I kind of remember how to run it. The supervisor didn’t call product or get the parts of the machine that I needed or anything. They just put somebody on my machine and just magically. Expect me to know that I’m supposed to run…

Expect me to know that I’m supposed to run it despite telling them that I only kind of know how to run it. Anyways, I ran into causing issues with the machine especially since this machine is from the 1960s and isn’t even designed to run this product. It is a literal Frankenstein machine made of three different machines to run this product. Everyone has issues with this machine. Nobody wants to run it, but I had to run it. This was right after it was cleaned, so I didn’t know that there was still water in the hose which caused it to leak all throughout the machine and give me constant headaches trying to clean it. Plus, I was assigned a temp that could barely speak English and would not watch the cabs since they wouldn’t go on half the time because the cap machine doesn’t work right the vast majority of the time.
Anyways, I had a sit down with the head of HR about the whole event, where I ran into constant issues with it, and was also treated horribly by my supervisor who just expected me to know that I was supposed to run in the first place, despite them not telling me. I told my boss that I will not run that machine. This was right when I had just gotten out from surgery which is completely unrelated. They didn’t really have much to say about it, so I kind of figured things were settled up until last week, where my boss was going to have me run it. I made it clear to this boss that I was not going to run it with all of the circumstances. The boss said that if I’m not gonna run it, I need a doctors note. I get the doctors note because it causes shoulder and neck issues, but they keep telling me that they’ll change the machine and everything like that so it won’t cause neck issues. I don’t know how much clearer I can make myself when it comes to this machine.
This place has zero communication on the floor whatsoever. I told him that this machine stresses me out above and beyond belief. I’m already over work since I’m working four 10 hour days, and additional eight hours every other week, and an additional Saturday every other month. If they’re going to continue to make me run this machine, I don’t even care if they fire me at this point. This Frankenstein machine that they MacGyver to run this messy product is just too much to handle especially for most people. I’m just done with this place and needed a place to vent.
