I have been at my job for 3 months. A job I fell in love with. I can honestly say I have not been this happy at another job, and every day I thought about how grateful I was for this opportunity. I was in HR, so once they made the decision to do a reduction in force, I was included on helping process those lay offs and separations. It’s been about a week and things have started to settle from handling all of that, my boss asks me to jump on a zoom call where she lets me know they are letting me go as well.
To say I am extremely disappointed, pissed off, and have a full on hate for the world is an understatement. I want to give up.
