Company’s HR is refusing to give me my joining bonus just because my joining date is extended.

So long story short I cleared the interview for this company and initially I told them that my notice period is negotiable(negotiable based on I had no backlogs and there were other employees too in the company who had negotiated there way through notice period and made it short) and I can join them in 45 days(my notice period is 3 months fml). But even after talking to manager and HR of my current company I couldn’t reduce my notice period and they wanted me to serve 3 months. So I talked to the HR of the company I am supposed to join in March and they agreed to the 3 month notice period but the thing is that I talked to her today and she said that you wont get any joining bonus since you extended the joining date. Is this valid/legal or are the trying to rip me…

Is this valid/legal or are the trying to rip me off? I can’t think of joining them without joining bonus and it’s one of my dream company.

What should I do in this case? Is there anyway I can convince them? All help will be appreciated.
