today would have been my dads 54th birthday. he passed away 8 years ago after spending 13 months in a coma due to an accident on site. barely a day goes by that I don't think of him. The worst part, the pattern of kind gestures the company made while court proceedings went on. fooling me completely. paying for the funeral, the CEO of this ASX listed company even spoke at the funeral. 6 months later he didn't recognise me when I bumped into him. ( I had worked at this company for the last 3 years). as soon as the court hearing was over they changed their attitudes and I was forced to quit not long after. long story short , fuck the man. do what makes you happy.
