Why is the current period of inflation called the cost of living crisis? That’s only a term that is applicable to the west. Should we call it the western pay disparity crisis?
In China and india incomes are generally high for white collar workers that they can support their lifestyle, supplement it with additional labour like childcare, maids, cooks, personal drivers. And everyone is generally happy. One person can pay for the lives of their family, and more.
Western people are so underpaid and our service costs are skyrocketing. Can’t afford rent, cant afford food, can’t afford child support, can’t afford fuel. And we are meant to be an economical power? Now we are completely changing course with the whole ESG and carbon tax on emissions when all these Asian countries are exploding without limit. All those people getting uplifted, way beyond their requirements.
I dunno just seems all soo poorly managed to me. The west is suppressed.
