Apologies if this is a bit of a mess and for mobile formatting. One of my team members has a second job and this is their story, I just want to help them out. So one of their coworkers noticed their tips had been decreasing at the shop. They started documenting how many cash tips they were getting at night and after doing their own calculations realized their manager had been shorting their tips. The manager of the shop saw on the cameras that they were taking photos of tip amounts and fired them without even speaking to them about anything. Are their any legal actions they can take to hold the manager responsible for shorting tips or firing someone without actual reason?
