So, I work in a mental hospital and I’m not able to leave the unit at all during my shift. I had just gotten done telling my coworker that I can’t eat pork etc… because I have a kosher diet. Because I can’t leave the unit, my coworkers have to bring up my food. When she gave me the food, there were meatballs in my meal and I asked her what meat it was and she said beef, to which I asked if she knew that for sure and she said that the sign said beef. However, I later found out that the meatballs were pork.
Now, I’ve had my issues with this coworker and she’s been a surreal megabitch recently. Is there anything I can do about this since it is a religious diet in a workplace?
Edit: The meals come from a cafeteria, she doesn’t prepare her meals at home and bring them to me.
Edit II: So for clarification there’s a cafeteria downstairs. While she brings the patients downstairs, I’m watching the patients upstairs. She brings up trays for those people, as well as the nurses and MHT’s on the unit.
