I'm a caseworker developing a program that – if it works – will solve wage inequality and poor working conditions. In addition to this, it will offer access to rent-free housing units + enough garden space to feed entire families.
This started out as an attempt to find a good way to modernize homeless shelters and create a platform on which to provide services, but it has grown as research was done and we saw the potential. The reason this works is really simple: if you don't have to work, businesses have to compete with eachother to give you a nice place to work. With this program in mind, everyone is going to want to find decent work if only to afford extra luxuries, but we intend to outfit the units such that basic needs are covered. The communities are loosely styled after radial garden cities with on-site caseworkers, and free day-care.
The social media platform we are using is still in beta, but you are welcome to join it if you want to engage with other users on there and be a part of our initial culture. Right now what it can offer is mostly social interactions with eachother and some creative uses of our Recognition feature which will allow you to get paid for your posts and comments if other users feel like rewarding your contributions.
Please dm me if you're interested, I'm hoping to keep an eye on the amount of people joining so I can make sure the traffic isn't greater than what we can handle at this early stage in our development.
Also if you have questions or insights I'd love to hear those.
