Dealing with “coach”

The company I work for hired a “development coach” without even having a janitor to take care of the space. And it would be too exhausting to explain the whole narrative. But in the “sessions,” the following occurred: Relationship with an employee's father being cited as the reason for theirs social problems. Spraying of essential oils. The person self-identifying as a “therapist” and when asked about their approach, saying they don't know and that they deal with “spiritual and family matters in an integrative way.” Distortion of the argument that division of labor is a serious problem made worse because of AI into “people have limiting beliefs, and that's why they don't change jobs.” Blaming someone's behavior on their zodiac sign. The company I work for hired a “development coach” without even having a janitor to take care of the space.

And it would be too exhausting to explain the whole narrative.

But in the “sessions,” the following occurred:

Relationship with an employee's father being cited as the reason for theirs social problems.

Spraying of essential oils.

The person self-identifying as a “therapist” and when asked about their approach, saying they don't know and that they deal with “spiritual and family matters in an integrative way.”

Distortion of the argument that division of labor is a serious problem made worse because of AI into “people have limiting beliefs, and that's why they don't change jobs.”

Blaming someone's behavior on their zodiac sign.

Claiming that cancer is created mentally and can be cured mentally.

Mentioning sources that are easily proven pseudoscientific with a simple Google search.

Pressuring an employee who recently had a stroke to actively participate in the discussion and analyze what spiritual trauma caused it.

Using NLP techniques such as abruptly lowering their voice, imitating others' voices, and hitting things to make an impact.

Freudian slip of joking about “teaching how to manipulate people.”

Aversion to formal education and vaccines.

Infallible and universal solutions for personal problems.

Scheduling meetings at extremely specific times (5:27 PM!!!!) that employees comply with, but big shot arrives one hour late.

Interrupting others' presentations to correct them, which frustrates me in particular because it's a job that requires showing autonomy and control in front of clients.

Invading personal physical space.

And I feel like he's aiming at me because boss mentioned that I study philosophy and I can't help but ask too many questions, haha.

I feel like I'm wasting my time complaining to the boss.

But I'm not the only one feeling uncomfortable, and I think everyone expects me to have a conversation of this nature with him, and I like the other employees, they're going through the same hell as me and have anti-capitalist and pro-people opinions too.

What should I do? Do I deal Socratic dialectics to the max and question the necessity of that asshole's mother conceiving him? Or do I not waste energy? Or do I pretend to be an ally to gather information?
