Work your whole life, 2 jobs for a lot of that time, just to die right at retirement.
I took some time off and my job charged me for my insurance premiums for the time I took off because I couldn't get family med leave. They didn't let me know this prior. To top it off my raise for the year was pennies.
I don't want this, but this is the life we live. I can barely function at my job with the grief, tied with thinking of all the things I'd rather be doing.
What are your stories of grief + work?
