Heres how it would work if Democrats represented their voters
Republicans:
We're going to default if you don't meet our demands!
Democrats:
Great! Crashing our economy will give our younger population a chance to buy houses, and cool off our overheated stock market. No debt means our military gets downsized back to reality, and most of our voterbase has been fucked out of qualifying for government assistance anyways even if they need it. Our consitituants have nothing to lose, and this “crisis” is a win win across party lines
Both parties then have a dance party, rejoycing over their newfound solution to so many issues across party lines.
Instead dems “concede” with a 2 year cap on non militiary discretionary spending? What non military spending? Ovet half our discretionary budget is already fucking military spending. If our military is so useful why haven't we won the war in Ukraine yet? Its cuz more tanks does not equal more better.
