Had a first interview a couple of weeks ago for a job I'm sure I'd actually really love, got a called for a second interview yesterday, conversation went something like this :
(Bear in mind this is a retail position)
Manager : “when are you available for the second interview with my boss?”
Me : “anytime after 5pm on a weekday, or anytime over the weekend”
Manager : “oh, my boss only works office hours 9-5”
Me : “I guess I could do it in the car?”
Manager : “Great, I'll tell her 9.30 on Thursday and she'll email you the details”
Got the email and the interview is supposed to be AN HOUR long with an activity included.
Replied to the email this morning letting them know I can't put my best foot forward sitting in my car still on shift for my current job, gave the option to change to 5pm but I ain't hopeful.
Why can't the boss go the extra mile and stay later? Lol
