Yep. I put in a request to leave three hours early next Sunday. We only have to ask 24 hours in advance for a day off where I work. Asking to work five hours out of an eight hour shift. They denied it. Saying they really need me there because we “might” be really busy that day. But then told me to see if anyone would switch with me or to just call off and it get it taken out of my sick time. Nobody to switch with. So I guess I'm working none of that 8 hour shift.
This is only a fraction of the many reasons why all the good, years long employees are all jumping ship from this stupidity.
