I recently went for an internal promotion at my job along with 2 other colleagues. There was only 1 available space and i went in not expecting the promotion. It got my evaluation where i would find out if i got the job or not in a 1 to 1 meeting where i was told i was a great employee, had the best interview and had the two supervisors that work there advocate for me. After being told all that i was denied the job for not much if a reason given. There wasn’t really any criticism or anything. Just i had the best interview and was wanted by my coworkers but he chose one of the other candidates who was known for issues. Since then ive seen them be closer than ever and be practically inseparable. Fuck working
