Denying power to employer is the sweetest thing happened to me in a long time

So for an unimportant reason, I have two part-time jobs instead of a full one. I found out it has an interesting dynamic. I am not fully dependable on either slavemaster and it gives me a little bit of unique leverage I did not have before or rather they do not have such power over me and their threats have almost no weight. Their typical threats are to touch your wage or fire you (again, a different form of wage threat), and such threats I got yesterday when I was caught on the phone during working times. He did not expect that, he just stood there with the expression of fish out of a pond and left after a silent minute. Full-timers there normally bow down and scurry (and I would not be different if the job is my lifeline). I fully expected to be fired today, but I met the middle manager several times, even the big boss and nobody said anything. Maybe it will still come, but it was so satisfying denying him the power over me. Living on half a salary will suck till I find another part-time, but at least I know I can survive.
