Work my socks off the last few years creating new innovations in a technology company. Get no pay rise at all and reward sales people for the very thing I created. It is an easy sell in good times leading to high rewards for barely literate sales people but as soon as economic uncertainity appears they dont know their arse from their elbow and unfortunately the rest of the team who are very productive suffer.
