Do employers realize majority of Americans are in a no-win situation?

If there is no way out, why should workers do anything at all? If you are going to work all day, 6 sometimes, 7 days a week and you can't afford to buy food, shelter, utilities and healthcare than what is the point of working? That's just the bare survival minimum. This is more than the .1 percent being asleep at the wheel. The very structure of the social contract is about to fall apart because the rich are so infatuated with wealth they don't care it will crash to zero when the rest of the country has had enough. Solely based on population. What are they going to do when we simply cannot support the older generation? Z and milenials can't have kids. They'd starve before they reach working age.
