Do I need to inform my job that I am wfh in another state for a week?

So, I am not sure if this post goes here, but I have a question. So my family is going on vacation (I already went on vacation and used all my pto up thst I had accrued), and I want to go with them. I live in PA and Wfh full time. My job is located states away in a different time zone. I have done my job in my boyfriend's house a city away, at my cousins a city away, in NJ down the shore, but never that far away. They have never said anything, and as long as my connection is good, I can complete my job anywhere. However, should I ask them if it's okay? Or is it better to just go, and if they end up noticing/saying something, I can just apologize and claim ignorance? We have a camera on meeting every 2 weeks but they…
