I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask this so apologies!
I recently found out that I’m going to be switched to part-time after being told that my full time position was secure for another year. I also found that that the 150 vacation hours I accrued will reset to zero come august 29 because my hours are decreasing. My work wants me to continue part time but I’ve been looking for full time positions (with no luck).
Should I go part-time and lose out on those vacation hours or quit and have it paid out? I’m planning on looking for another job so quitting was in the plan anyway but I was hoping to have a job lined up before I did.
